WEAAD participants at Byrum Porter Senior Center in Orlinda TN, received a corsage with a purple ribbon. The event included a potluck and safety information presented by the fire chief.

Seniors at Tiptonville Senior Center wore purple. Those who don't look like they have on purple had on purple eye shadow and purple flowers. We presented those who participated a grape soda.

Purple t-shirts, provided by the Tennessee State University's Elder Abuse Institute, remind people to raise awareness of elder abuse by wearing purple. Each Adult Protective Services worker recieved a shirt to wear on WEAAD June 15.
